| | TTW moves to Palexpo |
|
 | This year for the first time, TTW – the Swiss platform for the global travel industry – will have a regional focus. It will take place at Palexpo for French-speaking Switzerland and the neighbouring part of France (September 28-29, 2011) and in Zurich (October 19-20, 2011) - and no longer in Montreux, as was the case for the last 35 years.
TTW is a trade event focusing on promoting indirect professional relationships in travel distribution (B2B). The main focus is on networking, with the TTW playing a vital role, which is why the trade fair plays a vital role. It forms a basis for developing, maintaining and following up face-to-face contacts. High-level seminars and conferences designed, in terms of locations and schedules, to ensure optimal networking, round off the programme. A busy day at the trade fair will not prevent visitors from having fun: that is the purpose of the traditional TTW-Night, which offers the possibility of developing in a relaxed manner the new contacts made during the day.
"The measures taken to ensure that TTW moves with the times are bearing fruit. The new formula is working perfectly, especially in French-speaking Switzerland where the market has adopted it. The fair is already almost sold-out in Geneva. The enthusiasm and interest shown in this new platform in French-speaking Switzerland are exemplary, since the most important companies have registered as exhibitors. We regard this as evidence that the change was necessary," stated Urs Jäckli, director of TTW, to the magazine Travel Inside.
