Geneva Palexpo / Crowne Plaza Geneva - a special relationship between close neighbours


Over the last two years the management of the hotel Crowne Plaza Geneva has demonstrated more tangibly its desire to support the actions of Palexpo by adapting its accommodation services and through joint promotion of the exhibition/accommodation services.

These closer links have taken shape in practice with numerous joint actions to emphasize the convenience created by the immediate proximity of the two buildings, which enables Palexpo’s exhibitors to be accommodated virtually on the site. To bring the users even nearer, a special walkway has been provided at the level of the P12 car park, protecting pedestrians from traffic as they walk from the exhibition halls to the hotel and vice versa.

In order to ensure that it remains competitive, the Crowne Plaza Geneva is currently having renovation works carried out on 255 bedrooms. They will be completely finished by December 2010 and will offer a modern ambience, ideally suited to business travellers’ demands.

In addition, the hotel is in the process of gaining ISO 9001 and 14001 certification, thus giving top priority to its ambitions in terms of organization and respect for the environment.
