| | IAMF: a new forum on “the mobility of the future” |
|
| GENEVE PALEXPO is organizing, in cooperation with e’mobile (*1), AVERE (*2) and a committee of experts, a new scientific and public forum centered on mobility for the future to promote environmentally-compatible technologies and energies. This forum will be held for the first time at GENEVA PALEXPO from March 11 to 13, 2008, during the second week of the Geneva International Motor Show.
Placed under the patronage of Mr. Max Mosley, President of the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), this event aims at enhancing knowledge of existing and future solutions in the area of alternative mobility.
The emphasis will be placed on exchanges of views between scientists, political authorities and representatives of the automotive industry. Energy savings, emissions reduction, new propulsion concepts and alternative fuels will be among the topics addressed in presentations and panel discussions.
Public figures from the world of politics and economics, including the Federal Council (the Swiss Government), represented by the 2008 President of the Confederation, Mr. Pascal Couchepin, the Geneva State Councillor, Mr. Robert Cramer and His Royal Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco, have already lent their support to this conference.
A call for papers has been issued until November 15 this year. Potential speakers have the option of entering their candidacy by submitting a 2 to 3 A4 page summary of their presentation directly on the site www.iamf.ch.
