| International Advanced Mobility Forum (IAMF) is a scientific and public forum centred on key aspects and issues related to individual mobility for the future. This forum will take place for the first time at GENEVA PALEXPO, from 11 to 13 March 2008, during the second week of the Geneva International Motor Show. |
 |
IAMF is an initiative of GENEVA PALEXPO, in cooperation with the e’mobile * and AVERE ** associations, with a committee of experts from the scientific and the industrial communities.
The objectives of the Forum are to intensify the exchange of information and know-how between researchers and politicians, to facilitate collaboration between the automobile industry and the scientific community, and to promote the launch of alternative vehicles on the transportation market. The Geneva International Motor Show will offer an ideal platform to exchange viewpoints and bring together common interests.
The various topics will be discussed at conferences and round-tables. Subjects featured will include hybrid technologies, electric, gas, and fuel cell as well as biofuel, in short, all solutions contributing to a substantial reduction of emissions and fuel consumption.
In the same spirit, AVERE launched the EET (European Ele-Drive Transportation) Conference cycle a few years ago, which will be an integral part of the 2008 Geneva programme. The 2007 EET Conference will take place in Brussels from 30 May to 2 June (www.ele-drive.com).
The www.IAMF.ch site is currently under construction.
